Sprint Early But Late to the Party?

2010... a great year for Sprint, Android, and big screens!  The HTC Evo 4G was not only the first 4G phone in America, but it helped pushed the big screen addiction we currently have going on (unless you own an iPhone).  Speeds were fairly quick on the WiMax technology that Sprint was using.  But once Verizon released LTE, and AT&T rolling it out these past weeks, WiMax, has well, been lagging behind!  But this week Sprint announced their ready-to-roll markets along with a LEAKED LTE phone.  And with that, we have a leak of Sprint's service, and it is glorious to say the least.  Averaging around 40MBPS down, and even going up to 44MBPS!  So, a bit too early to the party, but late is better than never!

Here are the speed tests performed...

To put it into perspective, these speeds are on par or even faster than your broadband internet (cable, FiOS) at home or at school.

Now, if we could only get some Windows Phone 7 phones in SPRINT'S lineup.
