Rumors are currently circulating the web on when the Galaxy Nexus for Sprint will be released. Not only that, but the LG Viper is also poised to be released on the 15th of April along with the Galaxy Nexus which will bring two LTE phones to Sprint’s lineup. S4GRU has reported that they have received information from Sprint’s ProductDevelopment division on when to expect the Galaxy Nexus. Sprint is aiming for an April 15th release, which means that they would like for the phone to be released around that date. The 15th lands on a Sunday, so the phone may release on the Friday before or after. This also makes sense, since Sprint is doing the Data Storm Sweepstakes which goes on for a month.
Not only that, but Sprint’s Galaxy Nexus has made the rounds through the FCC, making its release that much closer. Don’t expect your 4G LTE to be turned on just yet though. The phone will be equipped with LTE, but the service has not been turned on to the public just yet as Sprint is still in the testing phase. As WiMax has different chips you will not be able to use the first 4G service either, but once LTE is turned on, everything else will be a thing of the past! Read More...
