Some speculation has been going around to what the actual name of the new iPad is. Well, the name is… iPad. There was no iPad 3, iPad HD, iPad 2s, or iPad 3 HD. Nope, Apple is going back to the basics with this one and named it, ‘iPad’. We may be seeing a drop in the incremental number naming scheme Apple has been implementing on the iPhone and iPad. There is no iPod Touch 4s, but iPod Touch 4th generation. Seems Apple will be heading this way, with the iPad (and possibly the iPhone?).
