The desktop unfriendly OS is said to be launching in October. Sources have reported to Bloomberg that work will be finishing in the summer of 2012 ready for an October 2012 release. This isn’t surprising as Windows 7 was released around the same time. Windows 8 will be shipping with PC’s and tablets in tow.
