All Android phones are NOT CREATED EQUAL.
With that being said I have heard many people complain about how "cheap" their Android phones are and end up comparing them to the iPhone. Android is a very powerful operating system and if not executed properly it will not function properly. Many people compare their cheap Cricket Huawei phones to the iPhone 4 or even 4s. Other people have upgraded their 2009 Android phone and have compared it to the iPhone 4s. Of course your iPhone 4s will be better because it is newer!! What you have to do is compare high end phones with high end phones.
If you are going to be signing a contract for two years why not go ahead and pay for the best phone? You will be paying the same amount every month for two years (on contract). If you are stuck with a phone for that long you might as well get something that will last that long. Many people buy cheap phones thinking its a bargain when in the long run it wasn't because you will be spending the same amount on that cheap phone.
If money is an issue than you should go for the models that were hot last year because those are still powerful phones! Don't get a new phone because it is NEW and priced low. That just means it was made with horrible innards that won't produce much. You should buy last years models and that way you will be in good hands!!
